Officially Homeowners Today!!!!

We are officially homeowners today. We closed on our first home and were given the keys. I went over to the house alone after work and hung out there for a bit. I turned on every light, I opened every closet door, I looked for all the electrical sockets, and took 3473847398 pictures. (link below)

PICTURES OF OUR HOME HERE

As it got dark I started to hear all the noises the house makes. I kept getting nervous. I have to get familiar with the noises this house makes. I can sit at the house I grew up in and hear any noise and its not alarming, but in this house it was unfamiliar and was creeping me out.

I still cant believe we own it, it is ours. I cant wait to make many happy memories there with Sebastian, our family, and friends.

( crooked lamp post...got to love it )

I love these old numbers that used to be on the house. I want to save them for a project in the future.

  1. Nice looking place. How much of it is actually stone? We just bought a forclosure near my hometown in Arkansas. Got sick of California. We got the house for $5000 but needs a facelift. All minor issues fortunately. But our closets are freakin tiny except for a very oddly placed hall closet. Thinking of knocking out out to extend the hall so I can add an extra wing to the house with a master bedroom and bath with a two car garage and my workshop. Keep up the good work. I'm curious to see how it all comes together.
